Access to the internet (outside UWA) for anyone at UWA is provided by AARNet Pty Ltd.
Members of UWA
AARNet's Access Policy applies to all members of the University (staff, students, visitors) who make use of the University's connection to the internet (which is provided by AARNet Pty Ltd).
AARNet Pty Ltd is 100% owned by its members, comprising almost all universities in Australia (including UWA) together with CSIRO.
Non-members of UWA
AARNet's Access Policy also applies to all non-members of UWA who have access to the internet via UWA's AARNet connection.
In addition, AARNet's Access Policy requires that UWA maintains a list of non-AARNet institutions that obtain access to AARNet through its AARNet connection.
This is the list of non-members that currently have access to AARNet via UWA:
