Internet access

Access to the Internet from student computer labs is controlled by Information Services (IS) and all Internet traffic is authenticated by the IS proxy server.

If you try to access a website external to the University, you will be prompted for a username and password. The username and password is the same as your UWA assigned username and password. Note: you must first upgrade your UWA student account to a full service student account.

Lost and found items in computer labs

For security reasons it is important that you do not leave any personal items unattended in any computer lab. ECM IT staff perform regular lab checks and any items that appear to have been left behind will be taken to the nearest IT Support Office.
