Username and passwords
Log-in to MyUWA.
Use your Pheme student username and password.
Note: Your UWA username and password will not log you in to your personal Gmail account, and your Gmail username and password will not log you in to your University email account.
Graduate lifetime email
Graduates lose access to student email accounts 12 months after graduation. However, you can organise a Graduate lifetime email with UWA.
All students currently enrolled at UWA are automatically assigned an email address.
It is important that you use this email address, as it will be used by the University for official correspondence with you, including:
- HECS information
- exam information
- Library notices and much more.
The UWA student email system is a comprehensive student communications and collaboration suite, powered by Google.
Access
Access your student email account through MyUWA. You must have an active central UWA student account. New starters should check that their accounts are active.
Addresses
All students currently enrolled at UWA are automatically assigned an email address. Your email address will be in the format of:
studentnumber@student.uwa.edu.au
Email service
The system is a comprehensive student communications and collaboration suite which is powered by Google.
The UWA email service includes:
- Google Mail
- Docs
- Site
- Video
- Contacts
- Mobile.
Google Calendar is not available, as the University currently uses the calendar facility within MyUWA.
There are no additional Terms and Conditions for you, individually, to accept in using the UWA email service. You are still bound by the UWA Computer and Software Use Regulations, the University's Email Policy and all other applicable policies which apply to the use of University systems.
Google Apps
There are limits as to how much we can integrate Google Apps into our existing services. Once Google Apps is implemented for UWA student's email, we will investigate how we can effectively integrate UWA and Google Apps services.
