Visitors, friends and alumni are welcome to use the University's research and information resources.
- Visitors

- University visitors, students of other Western Australian universities and community members can use UWA's Information Services. Some materials, such as journals and reference books, may not be borrowed and are only available to view within Information Services.
- Alumni

- Active members of The Convocation of UWA Graduates, retired and former UWA staff and Friends of the Library members can join Information Services as Affiliate members. They can borrow up to 30 items, and their loan period is six weeks.
- Locations

- As well as the main Reid Library building, there are other subject libraries, including for law, music and science, around the campus.
- Facilities

- The subject libraries offer computing facilities and copying services, audio-visual equipment, group study rooms and training rooms for student use.
